PIZZA LEAGUE

Hosted by York Vikings Walking Football Club, the Yorkshire Pizza League is a walking football competition in York that’s all about fair play, community and, of course, Pizza! Held at PlayFootball York, our league brings together like-minded Clubs to compete, build lasting friendships, and to share the love of our enduring fantastic version of the Beautiful Game.

After each Pizza League game day, we convene to celebrate still playing long after most have hung up their boots some years ago, the day’s results (but not in all cases of course) and to cement friendships, over a beer and, of course, with Pizza to share.

Yorkshire Pizza League is contested by Clubs from across Yorkshire and is played over a number of Game Days. Sliced into 2 divisions – for players 50+ and 60+ respectively – Pizza League is a competitive 7-a-side competition. The league is conducted under Walking Football Matchday Laws for Enclosed Pitches 2024 (WFMLEP24).
